Cardiac Science has announced the release of a field corrective action addressing the AED resistor and AED relay issue that involves certain models manufactured between August 2003 and August 2009. The mandatory software upgrade for models 9390A and 9390E (Powerheart G3 Plus) is now available. Have your machine's serial number ready, and you can download the file here.
The file is approximately 152 megabytes and will configure the already comprehensive self-test to check for the resistor issue. The upgrade is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Window 7 operating systems. Simply follow the directions on the website, and get your Powerheart G3 Plus upgraded today!
