One of the biggest problems regarding CPR Training is that the challenging emotional barriers of response aren't properly addressed. Instead, automated external defibrillator (AED Defibrillator) vendors focus their primary efforts on product use, competitive advantages, product differentiation, etc. Therefore, the sad reality is that approximately 50% of the time during a witnessed cardiac arrest when an AED is present it isn't deployed. Trainers must encourage lay rescuers to respond. The best way of accomplishing this isn't through the latest fads, quick-and-easy techniques, and the false security granted by online training. Rather, if we truly want to encourage bystander action, training must come from professionals who respond to emergencies on a daily basis. These instructors know much more than the mechanics of CPR.
